I’m a Scrappy One

May brought another writing contest over at Mathew Cross’s site. He took the story interstellar with a tale of a young scrapper who gets roped into answering a mayday call. Matthew left lots of avenues of great story telling opportunities to finish off this flash fiction piece.

I am honored again that he chose my story ending as one of his finalists. It was another fun challenge to decide which direction to take the story. That’s what’s so great about the contest, I love that a story can become so multifaceted with each writer’s unique perspective of Matthew’s original vision.
